AN INTERACTIVE AND RELIABLE FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN CINCINNATI, OHIO
A professional, friendly family located in Cincinnati, OH (45245) is seeking a reliable, interactive, full-time nanny for their adorable and happy two-month old daughter. She is a sweet, smiley baby who is curious and interactive, and loves drinking milk and snuggling above all else. Both parents are respectful working professionals and are committed to creating a calm, supportive environment to help the right nanny be successful. The mother works from home and is very considerate, and has an office with closed doors to create an interruption-free environment so the nanny can comfortably settle in, stay engaged, and build confidence with the infant. This family is looking for a candidate who can commit long-term for the next one to three years, and possibly longer. This family values reliability, trustworthiness, compassion, kindness, strong character and values in their nanny, and is looking for someone who can bring thoughtful consistency in nurturing healthy routines and age-appropriate play to help raise their daughter to be a kind, confident, and intelligent young woman.
This role is ideal for someone who is warm, loves children, is great at engaging interactively, and is kind, patient, and naturally attentive. The family values strong communication, transparency, and flexibility and also values candidates who have a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and what is developmentally appropriate for infants at each stage as they grow.
This family has four older, self-sufficient children and two of them only partially reside in the home: a 14-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy, a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. The nanny’s responsibilities are focused solely on the infant and do not include caring for the other children. However, if they are occasionally asked to assist with care for one of the older siblings, there will be an additional $2 per hour. This position does not include any driving responsibilities. However, if the nanny is asked to do any driving and uses her own car while on duty, the family will reimburse her at the IRS mileage rate, currently $0.76 per mile.
The nanny’s responsibilities would include: Planning fun and educational activities for the baby, taking her for walks and playing outside, documenting her daily activities, including meals, diapers, and naps, ensuring her safety at all times, feeding, diapering, and following an age-appropriate nap schedule, preparing meals and snacks (once she’s older), providing one-on-one care, and fostering a trusting, emotional bond with the baby. Some light cleaning is not required but would be appreciated as needed, such as vacuuming the nursery and any play areas, emptying the diaper pail, tidying toys, infant's linen, cleaning up after the baby, including washing bottles, eating utensils, and keeping the baby’s play and eating areas clean and tidy by wiping down surfaces. The ideal nanny would be a pet lover, as the family has two dogs and two cats, however, their backyard is fenced and no pet care (other than periodically letting the dogs outside) is anticipated.

Must be honest, responsible, proactive, reliable and punctual. Must have high attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong morals and character, and must respect family values.
VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: This family prefers a candidate who is up to date on Flu, COVID, and Tdap vaccinations, but they are open to considering a non-vaccinated candidate as well.
