Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, plumbing fixtures, and related mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults accurately.
- Repair or replace defective components including compressors, motors, valves, belts, filters, wiring, and other mechanical parts to restore system functionality swiftly.
- Conduct complex system upgrades or modifications based on HVAC design specifications to improve efficiency or meet new standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Operate specialized tools such as welding equipment or refrigeration recovery units safely and effectively during repairs or installations.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning units, appliance repair, or plumbing issues as needed to support overall building operations.
Experience
- 5 Year's minimum experience with HVAC systems in commercial or residential settings.
- Hands-on experience working with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans for troubleshooting and installation purposes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration systems, welding skills, and equipment repair techniques.
- Field service experience involving property maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs or appliance servicing.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle is required.
- Knowledge of construction principles relevant to HVAC installation and maintenance projects.

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
