Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time vehicle integration technician to support ongoing integration programs that consist of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), military vehicle systems, container systems, and others as assigned. The selected candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally. Will work as part of a team to integrate networks, electronic, mechanical, communication, and power systems into various platforms for military applications.
Duties:
Systems Assembly: Performs installation and test of mechanical modifications to, and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and structural components for complex systems such as military shelters, ground vehicles, etc.
Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct functional checkout activities, diagnostic testing, and system validations to ensure all parts operate perfectly together.
Quality Assurance: Read complex assembly drawings, operate precision tools, and conduct quality inspections to meet strict industry and safety standards.
·Collaboration: Partner with engineers to document integration processes and define the manufacturability of new designs
Qualifications
Experience with MANET installations – establishing nodes, routing protocols, and establishing wireless infrastructure.
Experience with Radio and Satellite Communications Equipment & Systems both land and vehicle based is a plus.
Experience working in a production environment, preferably a prototyping or product development environment.
1-3 plus years of mechanical and electrical integration in production environment or Engineering Technician Experience in a Military Environment
Previous experience in manufacturing / production desired
Experience with sheet metal fabrication; Auto body experience is a plus
Must be skilled in the use of hand tools, air tools, riveters, and sheet metal and machine tools such as shears, breaks, notches, saws, etc., as well as measuring tools, test instruments, and painting equipment.
Ability to work from and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be capable of achieving a U.S. DoW SECRET clearance within six months of employment. Active DoW SECRET clearance preferred. (A U.S. security clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Possess a valid U.S. Passport with at least six months of validity.

Work Environment
Travel setting with intermittent stays at Office Headquarters or home of record. Must be willing to travel to meet mission needs. Must be required to stand for lengthy amounts of time during the day.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
