Job Overview
We're looking for compassionate and dedicated CNAs and PCAs to provide quality in-home care. You'll assist clients with daily living activities while promoting their comfort, safety, independence, and dignity. Must have Hoya lift experience.
Schedule
- Monday through Sunday at 10AM to 8PM
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting)
- Monitor and report changes in clients' condition
- Provide medication reminders and support care plans
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with transportation to appointments and errands
- Follow agency policies, safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver quality home care
Experience
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs accurately.
- Experience assisting residents with ADLs and using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or resident-specific transfer techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to hospice care or geriatrics are a plus.
