Network/Security Analyst with Roadrunner Food Bank Inc (Albuquerque, NM)
Utilizes advanced network monitoring tools to proactively analyze and monitor traffic, promptly addressing anomalies and ensuring continuous network integrity. Implements a comprehensive update strategy for PCs, laptops, and other devices, ensuring timely application of patches and security updates. Enforce the deployment of antivirus solutions, ensuring regular updates of antivirus definitions for maximum protection. Designs, implements, and maintains robust email security measures to protect against phishing attacks and malware. Manages enterprise cloud identity and device management through the administration of Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Intune to ensure secure access, device compliance, and application lifecycle governance across the organization. Oversees the selection, configuration, and deployment of security hardware, including Security Keys and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Implements conditional access aligned with Zero Trust principles and strengthens authentication with phishing-resistant standards. Administers Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance capabilities (including data loss prevention, quarantine management, and advanced threat protection) and maintains endpoint encryption to safeguard data at rest and in transit. Configures and maintains secure site-to-site and remote access connectivity, including VPN tunnels supporting multi-site operations. Enhances domain protection by implementing and maintaining DMARC, DKIM, and SPF records to prevent spoofing and unauthorized use of organizational email domains. Designs and deploys new network solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and adherence to security standards. Executes a comprehensive firmware upgrade strategy for networking equipment, enhancing system functionality, patching vulnerabilities, and maintaining optimal performance. Oversees hybrid integrations between cloud and on-premises environments to maintain consistent policy enforcement, reliability, and business continuity. Proactively recommends new applications and works collaboratively with department heads to ensure maximum utilization of purchased programs and applications. Resolves user-generated tickets related to network and security issues. Develops automation using PowerShell to streamline provisioning, patch compliance, inventory/reporting, and guardrail enforcement. Creates and delivers IT training on new program rollouts and updates to individuals within the organization. Conducts scheduled vulnerability assessments, coordinates remediation and leads ongoing Cyber security awareness initiatives to reduce risk exposure Serves as “dotted line” manager and project manager for IT Technicians. Acts as a trainer, coach, and mentor to IT Technicians. Other duties as assigned by the Director of IT.
Requirements:
Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems, or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in end-user IT support and network/security administration. Must have some experience in the following tools and applications:
1. Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC),
2. NVR management software,
3. Microsoft Teams /SOTI Mobicontrol/8 by 8 pbx system,
4. Paragon imaging and deployment tools,
5. Xcitium Patch Management,
6. Halo ITSM,
7. Xcitium ticketing system.
