Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, across designated routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules and optimal fuel usage
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, handling logistics cargo with care for hazardous materials or dangerous goods when required
- Transport automobile parts or other specialized freight via secure methods such as flatbed or tanker trucks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking load securement, tire conditions, brakes, lights, and fluid levels
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, delays, or issues encountered on route
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven 2 YEAR experience in commercial truck driving
- Demonstrated expertise in over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and route driving logistics

- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation

- Strong commitment to safety protocols and adherence to all trucking laws and regulations

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
