Caregiver Responsibilities
As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide non-medical support that helps seniors live safely and comfortably at home.
Responsibilities include:
- Personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, hygiene)
- Medication reminders
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Meal planning and preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Running errands and grocery shopping
- Companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring changes in client condition
- Ensuring client safety and responding to emergencies
Caregiver Qualifications
- Age 21 or older
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Comfortable working one-on-one with seniors
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance preferred
- Ability to work various shifts
- Prior experience in caregiving, CNA, HHA, PCA, senior care, home care, or healthcare preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
