Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble sports apparel according to design specifications and quality standards
- Perform garment construction tasks such as stitching, hemming, and attaching zippers or elastic components
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all items meet quality and safety requirements
- Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot sewing issues and improve manufacturing processes
- Assist with warehouse tasks related to fabric or finished product storage when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing machine operation within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, patterns, and fabric handling specific to sports apparel
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or work instructions accurately
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory management, and safety guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise stitching and finishing work
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
