Clairefontaine Care Center is a residential treatment facility serving children and adolescents who require structured supervision, behavioral support, therapeutic services, and a safe living environment.
The Direct Care Staff member is responsible for providing continuous supervision, daily care, behavioral support, and protection to residents in accordance with each child’s service plan, treatment goals, supervision level, facility policies, and applicable licensing requirements.
Direct Care Staff work directly with residents in the living environment and play a critical role in maintaining safety, structure, consistency, and therapeutic support.
Compensation
- Mandatory 40-hour paid orientation and training at $14.00 per hour, plus applicable overtime.
- After successful completion of required training and orientation, compensation increases to $16.00 per hour, plus applicable overtime.
- Overtime, weekend, overnight, and holiday shifts may be available based on facility needs
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Behavioral health facilities
- Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is advantageous
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation purposes
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications are required; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively as part of resident assistance routines
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in a compassionate manner
