Jennifer's Catering is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Catering Manager to lead our catering operations from client inquiry through flawless event execution. Responsibilities
- Manage catering inquiries, proposals, contracts, and event planning.
- Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their event needs.
- Develop customized catering menus in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Coordinate logistics for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and special occasions.
- Schedule and manage event staff, ensuring proper coverage and execution.
- Work closely with the kitchen and operations teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
- Oversee on-site event setup, service, and breakdown as needed.
- Maintain strong client communication before, during, and after events.
- Monitor budgets, event costs, and profitability.
- Build relationships with venues, vendors, and community partners.
- Assist with marketing efforts, networking opportunities, and business development to grow catering sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of catering, hospitality, restaurant, or event management experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience with event planning software is a plus.
- Valid Arizona driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
