Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under chef supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing service areas during food service to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks as needed to facilitate efficient meal production
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation is beneficial but training will be provided
