Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, aging needs, or health challenges. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health status by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
- Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while maintaining cleanliness in common areas
- Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely to assist with mobility and prevent injury
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's care and autism support
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols
- Document observations, care activities, and incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and privacy laws
Requirements
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable; ongoing training provided if needed
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for resident support
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage positively with residents
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or autism is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times
- Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals facing health or cognitive challenges
- Transportation and Reliability is a must!
- 1st Shifts 8AM-3PM
- 2nd Shifts: 3PM- 10PM
- 3rd Shifts: 11PM- 8AM

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
