Retail Store Manager
Job description
SKG Duty Free is looking for enthusiastic people with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager will oversee employees' work and all store operations while pushing sales to meet monthly goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency;
- Management of Inventory
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control;
- Cycle counting, etc.
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes
- Analyzing and interpreting marketing trends to participate in a competitive market;
- HR matters: interviewing, hiring, conducting employee evaluations and performance reviews; providing or organizing training and development; employee supervision; employee scheduling; enforcing dress code
- Ensuring standards for quality, customer service, health and safety
- Responding to customer complaints and comments;
- Organizing special promotions, displays as per home office instructions
- Reviewing and analyzing reports: Slow moving stock report, Inventory Stock level reports, customer related reports, etc.
- Ensuring loss and prevention standards
- Record keeping and sales of bonded merchandise as per US Customs regulations
- Handling Cash deposits
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 – 5 Years Retail Management Experience
- 2 Years Retail Sales Experience
- Inventory Management
- Basic knowledge in Profit & Loss
- Some Import/Export knowledge preferred
- Computer Literate
- Bilingual (Eng/Span) required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Proven track record as a store manager in a commission sales environment'
- Pass a background check with US Customs
