About Unicare Health Services:
Unicare Health Services is a growing healthcare organization committed to improving patient care through technology, innovation, and operational excellence. We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Technology Solutions Intern to join our Technology Department and work directly with the Director of Technology on strategic initiatives that support digital transformation across the organization.
This internship offers hands-on experience across cloud technologies, enterprise systems, business automation, information security, digital marketing, analytics, and web technologies within a Microsoft-centric environment.
Position Summary:
This is an execution-focused internship designed for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and building practical business solutions.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of initiatives including Microsoft cloud technologies, automation, digital platforms, cybersecurity, compliance, reporting, website enhancements, and digital marketing. Every day will present new challenges and opportunities to develop both technical and business skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Technology Solutions
- Configure, maintain, and improve Microsoft 365 and Azure-based business solutions.
- Build and optimize automated business processes using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Support SharePoint Online administration, collaboration sites, and document management.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and workflow solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in cloud-based application development, integrations, and automation projects.
- Assist with enterprise scheduling, task management, and productivity solutions.
Information Security & Compliance:
- Support cybersecurity and information security initiatives.
- Follow HIPAA privacy and security requirements when handling healthcare information.
- Assist with Microsoft security and compliance technologies.
- Help maintain secure access, documentation, and technology standards.
Digital Marketing & Communications:
- Create and publish content across social media platforms.
- Design marketing materials and digital graphics.
- Support website updates, content management, and branding initiatives.
- Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) and local digital presence.
Website & User Experience:
- Maintain and enhance company websites.
- Improve user interface and user experience.
- Support responsive web design and website optimization.
- Assist with front-end enhancements using modern web technologies.
Data, Analytics & Automation:
- Create business reports and dashboards.
- Analyze operational data and present meaningful insights.
- Support AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Research new technologies that improve organizational productivity.
Qualifications:
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics or a related field.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience through internships, graduate projects, research, freelance work, or professional experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
