Position Summary
The Dishwasher plays a critical role in keeping the restaurant running smoothly. This position is responsible for maintaining a steady flow of clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while helping maintain a clean and organized work environment.
This is a fast-paced position that requires urgency, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities Dishwashing & Sanitation
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Inspect dishes for cleanliness before returning them to service
- Keep clean and dirty dishes organized and separated
- Change dish water throughout the shift as needed
- Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures
Organization
- Keep the dish area clean and organized
- Return clean dishes to their designated locations
- Maintain organized storage areas
- Assist with trash and recycling
Kitchen Support
- Assist kitchen team members as needed
- Support opening and closing cleaning duties
- Sweep and mop designated areas
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- No experience required (training provided)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
