Interior/Exterior Plantscaping Installer – Rehoboth, MA (Year-Round FT with Benefits)
Hourly $19-$22 with Overtime

Woman owned, fully licensed, we serve the needs of property and facility managers, architects and interior designers across various industries including hospitality, financial, medical and legal, in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Staffed with a team of experienced plant designers, licensed horticulturists, and certified landscape technicians, Plantasia Design brings a high level of expertise to a broad range of interior and exterior plantscaping projects. Summary
The Interior/Exterior Installer is responsible for the professional delivery and installation of interior and exterior plant designs and holiday décor to include living and moss walls, silks, plants, containers, color bowls, exterior flower beds, and holiday décor as described through a design specification, diagram and/or related delivery work orders. A list of the job’s responsibilities and overall requirements are as follows but not limited to:
Responsibilities
§ Delivery and installation of live plants and holiday décor in commercial and residential facilities
§ Perform plant maintenance duties including but not limited to inspecting, cleaning, grooming, rotating, watering and removing debris
§ Plant exterior containers and flower beds or gardens using diagrams and tools
- Install/Assemble Holiday décor to include but not limited to wreaths, garland, holiday trees, lighting etc.
§ Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor and communicate any client issues or requests to management as soon as possible
§ Perform assigned duties in the warehouse such as cleaning and organizing, watering plants and flowers, and cleaning and preparing plants for delivery
§ Loading and driving a non-CDL 14’ box truck safely
§ Responsible for keeping vehicles and tools clean and organized
§ Ability to work extra hours during busy times with occasional weekend work
§ Assist in the installation and breaking down/storing of Holiday decorations.
§ Break down and process all returning products from your day e.g., plants, color bowls etc.

Requirements
§ Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and climb 4'-12' ladders
§ Ability to use a smart phone and time tracking phone application
§ High School Diploma or Equivalent
§ Good Driving Record, Valid driver license, Auto Insurance and Dependable Transportation
§ Criminal, RMV background, and Drug test may be applicable
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT AS PART OF JOB DUTIES: The employee must meet the physical demands and work environment of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable those with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Loading and driving a non-CDL 14’ box truck safely.
- Comfortable operating power tools.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 12’.
- Lift up to 80 pounds.
- Be available during nontraditional working hours, extended work hours.
- Able to stand, sit, bend over, and move around for prolonged periods of time.
- Perform physical activity, including but not limited to: digging, moving heavy objects, being in various cold and heated temperatures, being outside in various weather conditions, being at high heights, working with mechanical tools/power tools, work with heavy machinery, and other physical activities.
POSITION STATUS: This is a full-time position (Benefits for full-time position).
