Deer Mountain Day Camp (Pomona, NY) is looking for current college students who have great energy and enthusiasm, want to spend the summer working outside, are kind, caring, compassionate and sensitive to the needs of children, and have experience being thoughtful, responsible leaders among their peers.
Join Our Staff team as a Group Counselor and you will:
- Learn how manage and facilitate children in a larger group setting
- Begin to find your voice as a leader and as a teacher
- Have the opportunity to be creative and have fun
- Have a direct impact on the children you meet and care for and on our camp community
Daily Lunch & Transportation Provided, Extra Salary for Bus Supervisors:
Bus will depart from PARK SLOPE area and head to Rockland County. Extra salary provided for staff members who supervise the bus ride to and from camp.
Summer Dates: June 29th-August 20th, 2026, 9AM-4:15PM PLUS travel time
