Position Summary
Mainely Trusses is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Truss Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient fabrication of roof and floor trusses. The ideal candidate will be able to properly assemble trusses according to specifications and dimensions outlined on production paperwork while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Fabricate roof and floor trusses according to engineering drawings and production specifications.

Accurately measure, position, and assemble truss components to required dimensions.

Review production paperwork and ensure trusses are built according to provided plans.

Inspect lumber and materials for accuracy, quality, and defects before use.

Verify completed trusses meet quality standards and dimensional requirements.

Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
Required

Must be 18 years of age and completed high school/GED

Ability to read and interpret production paperwork, measurements, and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred but not Required
- Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields.

Experience using pneumatic tools and measuring equipment.

Forklift experience.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more with assistance when necessary.

Ability to perform repetitive motions including lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying.
