Duties
- Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art tailored to each client’s preferences
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each service to ensure client safety
- Consult with clients to understand their desired nail designs and recommend suitable treatments or products
- Stay current with the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and techniques to provide innovative services
- Promote retail sales of nail care products and other beauty items to enhance client experience and meet sales goals
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the salon or spa area
- Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare tips for long-lasting results
Skills
- Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing nail designs and art
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
- Proficiency in sanitation practices adhering to health regulations for safe service delivery
- Formal training in cosmetology or esthetician licensing with specialization in nail care
- Experience with advanced treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, or laser treatments is a plus
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a genuine focus on client needs
- Effective communication skills for explaining procedures and engaging with diverse clientele
- Familiarity with retail math for managing product inventory and sales transactions
- Knowledge of additional beauty services like hair threading, barbering, or esthetic laser treatments is advantageous

Pay: $23.78 - $28.64 per hour
