Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating commercial, civil, and federal construction projects and be comfortable managing multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, civil, and federal construction projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the bidding process.
- Meet bid deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of construction estimating experience.
- Experience estimating commercial, civil, and federal construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project costs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
