Veterinary Urgent Care Center (VUCC) Braintree is looking for a Part-Time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. VUCC provides same-day care for non-emergent illnesses and injuries while referring patients requiring intensive emergency care or hospitalization to specialty and emergency hospitals.
This is a great opportunity for an LVT who enjoys a fast-paced environment, wants to sharpen their clinical skills, and is passionate about hands-on patient care.

Obtain patient histories and assist with sick-patient appointments

Triage patients and assess their immediate needs

Perform blood draws and place IV catheters

Run and interpret in-house diagnostics

Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures

Calculate medications and surgical drugs

Help keep the surgery schedule running efficiently

Perform and assist with digital radiology

Assist with dental procedures

Provide compassionate care to patients and clients

Confidence in handling animals of all temperaments and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively under pressure.

One year of experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus!
