Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Duties
- Implement evidence-based ABA strategies to support clients’ developmental goals and behavior management plans
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately during therapy sessions
- Support clients in developing communication skills using verbal or alternative methods
- Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts to modify care plans based on data and client needs
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive information
- Provide compassionate patient care while working with children and individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders in home-based or clinical settings
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or equivalent credential
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred, especially in home-based behavioral settings
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies
- Ability to collect detailed medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and patient care is advantageous
- Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
