Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Subaru Repair and Performance Technician to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and enhancing Subaru vehicles with a focus on performance upgrades and specialized systems. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance.
- Execute maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignment adjustments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools efficiently to complete repairs and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems involving engine performance, transmission systems, and vehicle electrical components.
- Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to facilitate precise repairs on Subaru vehicles as well as GM vehicles when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the quality of work performed.
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in Subaru or similar brands preferred.
- Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics is essential.
- Knowledge of ADAS technology, vehicle alignment procedures, powertrain repairs, and diesel engine troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in auto body repair, welding, and general maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Familiarity with automotive service standards, auto body repair techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools in a professional setting.
