Experience in private school settings, secondary education, or research-based methods is highly desirable.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach in a Christian environment
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to support the educational needs of all students.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
Requirements
- Professing Christian lifestyle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting; prior experience in Christian schools/church setting is a plus.
- Strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and student assessment.
- Ability to mentor students effectively and adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
