GI Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN)

Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced GI Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to support advanced gastrointestinal procedures in an ambulatory care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong GI nursing experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing GI procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during treatment
- Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and sedation support as required
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
Qualifications
- Active RN license (California or compact state)
- Advanced GI RN experience required
- Strong ambulatory care and procedural nursing skills
- Excellent patient assessment and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
