Our primary focus is on established distributors with multiple branches and significant order volume.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional with deep knowledge of distributors and established relationships within the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, industrial, MRO, lumber, building materials, or related markets. We are also open to candidates with strong relationships in other distributor segments that face similar operational challenges and can benefit from Flowspan's technology.
Who We're Looking For
This is not an entry-level sales role.
The ideal candidate has either sold to distributors or worked for a distributor and already understands how these businesses operate.
We're looking for someone who understands distributors, has experience selling into the space, and has a proven ability to develop new business and win new accounts.
You may have:
- Sold software, ERP systems, ecommerce platforms, automation solutions, EDI, CRM, WMS, pricing tools, or related business solutions to distributors
- Worked for an electrical distributor, plumbing distributor, HVAC distributor, industrial distributor, MRO distributor, lumber distributor, or building materials distributor
- Built relationships with owners, presidents, branch managers, sales leaders, operations leaders, and technology decision makers
- Experience working with multi-branch distributors and understanding how they operate
Experience with companies such as Ferguson, Hajoca, Winsupply, Watsco, Johnstone Supply, Grainger, Fastenal, Motion, Graybar, CED, Sonepar, or similar distributors is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage qualified distributor prospects
- Develop new business opportunities and win new accounts
- Introduce Flowspan to key decision makers
- Schedule and participate in product demonstrations
- Manage opportunities throughout the sales process
- Build long-term relationships with distributor leadership teams
- Help shape our go-to-market strategy based on customer and market feedback

- Strong network within one or more distributor markets
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to communicate ROI and operational value to owners and executives
- Interested in helping bring modern AI solutions to an industry that still relies heavily on manual processes
