Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable and talented Barista / Cashier to join our team at our busy neighborhood cafe. We serve specialty coffee, signature espresso drinks and select teas that are unique; all of our coffee sauces are made from scratch. Our coffee program is a hallmark of our business as is our cleanly created breakfast and lunch selections where all of our sauces and dressings are made in house with no seed oils. You’ll work behind the coffee bar during peak hours, preparing made to order espresso drinks and teas. The intensity is high where speed, efficiency and consistency are required, and the ability to manage high volume and drink modifications.
Experience is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare specialty teas, along with hot and cold espresso drinks.
Manage two-head espresso machine during service, and the POS register when needed.
Complete daily prep work and organizing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Work efficiently during high-volume periods (breakfast rush and lunch rush).
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and other front of the house staff.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.

We are a gathering spot for the community featuring light breakfast, and a variety of salads, sandwiches and bowls. We prepare our own pastries, and bake our own sour dough where our dressings and sauces are made in house with no seed oils.
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
