We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shop Helper/Driver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist with warehouse tasks including manual handling, moving materials, and operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload goods safely.
- Drive box trucks or personal vehicles to deliver products to customers or job sites while adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload items efficiently using proper manual lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively using mobile devices during route driving.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and pickups.
- Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting, material handling equipment operation, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure a safe environment.
- Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, assisting with stock replenishment, and ensuring the workspace remains clean and organized.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar tools.
- Valid driver’s license for box truck or courier driving; experience with delivery driving preferred.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices.
- Prior experience with delivery driver roles involving load & unload activities is advantageous.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including heavy lifting and moving items safely throughout the workday.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced warehouse environments.
- Must be 25 Years Old with a Clean Driving Record-CDL NOT required
