Caron Scientific, a leading provider of advanced environmental testing and controlled environment equipment, is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Inventory Manager to join our Marietta Team.

Lead, manage, and develop inventory team members responsible for receiving, storage, and movement of raw materials

Ensure materials are stocked in the appropriate work cells to support short and long-term production schedules

Create, release, and close ERP work tickets in coordination with production builds, to ensure inventory and financial accuracy

Utilize ERP modules to conduct cycle counts that validate inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies

Proactively run reports to identify inventory discrepancies and work closely with Engineering, Production and Purchasing to troubleshoot issues

Oversee the disposition of scrap or defective inventory through ERP system and internal processes. Ensure proper handling, documentation, and disposal of non-conforming materials, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines

Create and update quality documents that are in-line with current procedures and larger company initiatives

Maintaining clean and safe working environment

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience

Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong understanding of inventory control principles, processes, and best practices

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, and Oracle; proven track record of utilization and understanding of supply chain modules for day-to-day operations

Experience with project management software such as Smartsheets, Monday.com or similar platforms is highly desirable

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines

Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and maintaining inventory data integrity

Ability to operate forklift, box trucks, and pallet jacks

Physically able to lift and move product weighing 50lbs+
