Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of children in our daycare or preschool setting.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children on various subjects, including language, math, science, and social skills through play-based learning.
- Monitor children's progress and provide early intervention strategies as needed to support their development.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development, behavior, and achievements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Experience
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
- Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Proven ability in lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing effective teaching strategies.
- Knowledge of early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs is beneficial.
