Overview
The Project Engineer supports telecom infrastructure and EV/energy projects from design through construction. This role is hands-on across site planning, permitting, and field execution, with direct exposure to active deployments. You will work within a multi-disciplined engineering firm supporting nationwide telecom and EV/energy infrastructure projects. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from site acquisition through construction, while building experience that supports your path to PE licensure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work on multiple telecommunication site projects, including new site builds, site modifications, and small cells, including attending site meetings and performing site visits
- Design, review, and finalize engineering plans
- Generate engineering reports to satisfy codes and client standards
- Coordinate, prepare, and review building and fire department permit documentation
- Work with and manage a team of engineers and designers to fulfill project requirements
- Perform and coordinate on-site construction inspections and final sign-offs
- Maintain and update project excel trackers
- Coordinate and communicate with the client as needed
- All related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering; EIT required, must be capable of obtaining a PE license in California within 1-2 years
- 2-4 years of relevant telecommunications and EV experience, with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner within budget
- Strong organizational skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2024 or newer and moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- A valid, clean driver's license and a personal vehicle

Role is based in Irvine with local travel to project sites
Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 base + standard benefits, salary increase upon CA PE licensure
