Job Summary
We are seeking hard-working Sorters to join our warehouse logistics team. This role focuses on sorting inbound and outbound packages, handling freight loading/unloading, and maintaining tidy warehouse zones to guarantee fast, accurate daily order processing. Candidates with warehouse sorting experience are preferred, and entry-level applicants with good physical stamina and communication skills are also welcome.
Responsibilities
1. Sort, scan, classify incoming and outgoing packages accurately by destination following standard operating procedures.
2. Complete loading, unloading, palletizing and shrink-wrapping of goods; move materials using pallet jacks or forklifts (certified operators only).
3. Inspect parcels for damage, label errors or mismatched information, and report inventory discrepancies to supervisors timely.
4. Keep sorting zones, staging areas and aisles clean and organized to avoid cargo stacking and safety hazards.
5. Cooperate with team members to support peak-hour high-volume sorting and complete daily output targets on schedule.
6. Comply strictly with warehouse safety regulations, OSHA standards and PPE requirements during all operations.
Requirements
1. Fluent in English; Spanish bilingual ability is a major plus.
2. Prior warehouse, parcel sorting or shipping/receiving experience preferred; entry-level candidates will receive full on-site training.
3. Able to operate RF scanners and basic warehouse equipment; basic computer & Excel skills for simple data entry.
4. Strong physical endurance: able to stand for long shifts, lift heavy goods, and work at a fast pace under tight deadlines.
5. Good communication, teamwork awareness and attention to detail; capable of multitasking during busy periods.
6. Responsible, quick to learn, able to follow instructions and adapt to changing daily workload.
7. Able to work rotating shifts: 9am – 6pm or 5pm – 2/3am overnight shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
