Duties
- Diagnose and repair various household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using detailed schematics and technical manuals
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical issues with precision using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for service calls while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs and provide excellent customer service experience
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work performed for each job
Skills
- Strong understanding of schematics and ladder logic for troubleshooting complex systems
- Proficient in equipment troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in appliance reapir
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for effective repairs
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices to ensure optimal appliance performance
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly during service or delivery routes
- Familiarity with electrical work standards relevant to appliance servicing
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions
- Experience working with equipment repair in fast-paced environments requiring quick problem-solving skills
Pay: $26.50 - $35.00 per hour
