Work Location: This position is designated as remote. However, employees who reside within a 40-mile radius of one of our office locations in Tampa, FL; Canonsburg, PA; or Bowie, MD will follow a hybrid work schedule and are expected to work in the office two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist with direct clinical experience in intravenous/infusion therapy to join our team. The Senior Principal Product Manager supports the development of product strategy and roadmap, market and product requirements, and marketing plans for a specific product or products (s). This role will work to provide insight and recommendations to meet market demand, documented solutions to business problems, and works with the Client and Product Leadership as well as BA's, Developers, QA, Design and Support to ensure requirements are fully defined and the proposed approach is both agreeable and complete. The Senior Principal Product Manager represents the perspective of the customer focusing on operational efficiency, standard operating procedure, clinical best practices, change management, and end-user experiences. The Senior Principal Product Manager also participates in UI/UX design development and review, with a focus on pharmacy process optimization, in addition to supporting construction as appropriate. The Product Advisor works internally and may also work directly with the client if direct collaboration is required and helps to enable customers to achieve their stated goals and deliver on the overall product strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathers, refines, and distills market feedback and market analysis to define requirements and document the solution approach, then iterates through adjustments to ensure alignment with company, client, and product strategy.
- Collaborates with the Client Management, Product, and Architecture Teams to define the functional approach to delivering on the product vision and customer needs.
- Accountable for the successful definition, delivery, and implementation of the solutions for which they provide advisement.
- Escalate any project risks, impacts or client executive misalignments as they're identified.

- Collaborate with the Product Managers to support them in strategic road-mapping and product investing.
- Review, understand, weigh-in & approve deliverables (requirements, designs, etc.).
- Considered part of the product innovation team; creates a multitude of artifacts, including scope/approach documents for product and client initiatives.
- Presents at internal training, product turnover, and knowledge sharing events as necessary.
- Manage product management and marketing to perform win-loss analysis.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver positioning documents, marketing plan, and other go-to-market related activities.
- Continuously perform competitive analysis and maintain expert-level knowledge of competitive landscape for the product.
- Develop, perform, and coordinate internal product training for sales, client services, and solution engineer teams.
- Review and approve product pricing and solution strategies for client purchases. Validating product budget against revenue and expenses on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate with technology and other groups to create timely client-facing communication and collaterals related to products.
- Maintain compliance with lnovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within lnovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.
- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by lnovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) required
Master's Degree in Arts/Sciences (M.A./M.S.) preferred
Experience:
- 8+ Years of experience in product marketing or product management areas, with a minimum 5 years of healthcare experience; system designs and concepts experience required
- 5+ Years of healthcare experience; system designs and concepts experience required
- Active State Board of Pharmacy License
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical pharmacy experience in home infusion or ambulatory infusion suite IV compounding
- Hands on experience with dosing, monitoring, and clinical assessment for therapies such as biologics, Parenteral Nutrition, IV antibiotics, hydration, and inotropes
- Demonstrated proficiency with USP <797> standards and cleanroom operations
Skills and Abilities:

- Strong project management skills.
- Goal-Oriented with high attention to detail.
- High familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
This is a primarily sedentary role. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear for extended periods of time, and also required to repetitively use manual labor to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
