Position Title: Accountant
Location: Plainview, Long Island, NY (On-Site)

We are seeking a
hands-on accounting professional to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will
take ownership of the company's daily financial operations , ensuring that transactions are accurate, reconciliations are complete, and the flow of financial information supports decision-making at all levels. What You'll Be Doing:
- Own the full cycle of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable , including invoice processing, payment application, reconciliations, and record maintenance.
- Act as the primary liaison with vendors and customers, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- Lead the onboarding of new vendors and clients, setting up accounts and verifying documentation to maintain smooth operations.
- Drive the month-end close process , posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing supporting schedules.
- Monitor account activity and highlight irregularities or opportunities for improvement to management.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure financial data aligns with operational activity.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls as the organization grows.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a healthcare setting
- Proven ability to manage AR and AP from start to finish , with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Strong understanding of GAAP, account reconciliations, and internal control procedures
- Comfortable with accounting software; ERP system experience is highly desirable
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
