Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for referred students
- Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions to support students’ learning and well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations effectively with parents and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
