Job Description: Part-Time Housekeeper
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities, including the bathhouse, office, activities center, and clubhouse. This position offers flexibility with the option of direct hire employment or an independent contractor arrangement, depending on the candidate's preference and qualifications.
Employment Type
Part-Time — Direct Hire or Independent Contractor (to be determined based on candidate preference and business needs). This position is seasonal.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 4 hours per day (approximately 20 hours per week)
- Specific daily start time to be discussed based on facility needs
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize the bathhouse daily, including but not limited to showers, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
- Clean and maintain the office daily (dusting, trash removal, vacuuming/sweeping, restroom upkeep, wiping surfaces)
- Clean the activities center and clubhouse as needed, ensuring these spaces are presentable and sanitary
- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials as needed
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies/equipment (up to 25 lbs)
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
Work Environment
This role involves working across multiple on-site locations (bathhouse, office, activities center, and clubhouse) and requires exposure to cleaning chemicals, varying indoor/outdoor conditions, and physical activity.
Employment Classification Note
Candidates may be considered for either:
- Direct Hire (Employee): Subject to standard payroll and tax withholding.
- Independent Contractor: Engaged under a contract-for-services agreement.
