A local, home-daily CDL route based in Rising Sun, MD. No OTR. No regional runs. No nights away from home.
Between routes, you cross-train in the warehouse — loading, unloading, staging. That means steadier hours year-round, and skills that support future pay increases.
Pay increases after 6 weeks. A $500 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments at 30 and 90 days. Company cell phone, paid time off, and tuition assistance for drivers pursuing further CDL training.
What You'll Do
- Operate a company vehicle to deliver goods along assigned local routes
- Load and unload freight using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Represent the company professionally with customers on your route
- Cross-train in warehouse operations (picking, staging, organizing) between or after routes
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (our trucks are Class 6 & 7 straight trucks — Class A welcome, Class A not required)
- Prior driving experience preferred, not required
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Comfortable with physical work — lifting, loading, and using pallet jacks
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
