Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, responding to guest
requests in the hotel, and for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens in a continuing effort to
deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Expected Duties:
Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed
Perform deep cleaning tasks as required by the brand
Sanitize high-touch areas in rooms according to brand standards and safety standards
Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart daily; this includes placing clean, unused linen/terry on the shelf at the end of each shift- Dispose of trash and recyclables
Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner- Perform guest turn down (“stayover”) service, as needed
Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting,
sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding,
storing, and delivering
Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area; properly operate and maintain
laundry appliances according to manufacturer’s guideline
Remove trash from guest rooms and floors, and take to on-site property dumpster- Assist with cleaning public areas including but not limited to, elevators, corridors, public
restrooms, fitness center, business center, lobby
Report maintenance concerns to property maintenance and management as needed
