Position Overview: We are in search of an eager Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY) to join our team. The CFY will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to assess and treat individuals with communication challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine clients’ speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities, using a combination of standardized tests, observation, and interviews.
- Develop targeted therapy plans tailored to each client’s needs, emphasizing areas such as articulation, fluency, and pragmatic skills, guided by assessment outcomes and best practice standards.
- Keep thorough documentation of evaluations, plans, progress updates, and final summaries.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Knowledge of assessment and intervention methods in speech-language pathology for varied populations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with clients, families, and the clinical team.
- Compassionate, professional attitude toward clients with communication needs.
- Adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality practices, and support for an inclusive workplace.
- Proficiency in managing tasks and adapting in a busy clinical setting.
