About the Role
A warm, first-time-parent family in Briarcliff Manor is looking for a full-time nanny to care for their infant son. Dad works from home full-time and will be present but hands-off during the day; mom returns to her office job three days a week later this fall. The household is calm, organized, and welcoming — including a very social, friendly house cat who loves to follow people around, and grandparents who visit regularly to help with light chores.
The ideal candidate brings a bubbly, outgoing energy, strong organizational instincts, and genuine warmth for infant care. This family is looking to build a long-term relationship — they're already thinking ahead to future family growth and want someone who can grow with them.
What You Will Do
- Provide full-time, hands-on care for one infant
- Handle bottle cleaning/sanitizing, laundry, and daily routines
- Introduce age-appropriate activities and sensory play as baby grows
- Track and proactively flag inventory needs (diapers, formula, supplies)
- Communicate clearly and consistently with parents
- Be comfortable with a friendly resident cat and occasional extended-family visits
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, approx. 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- $30–$35/hour, based on experience
- Long-term placement (ideally 1–2+ years)

What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience with infants
- Legal U.S. work authorization
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Bubbly, outgoing personality — comfortable balancing a quieter household
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Confident self-starter, able to make care decisions independently once acclimated
- Comfortable driving; own vehicle needed occasionally (mileage reimbursed)
- Comfortable around a friendly house cat
- Portuguese language a plus, not required
- Open to occasional domestic/international travel a plus, not required
