Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, motivated team member to join our busy frutería-style deli. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to meet you!
- Prepare fresh tortas, sandwhiches, and aguas frescas.
- Assist customers with their food orders, providing recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS system.
- Restocking and maintaining a clean work space daily.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
- Keep the workspace clean by sanitizing surfaces, washing utensils, and adhering to sanitation protocols throughout your shift.
- Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Experience working in a frutería-style deli or similar food service environment preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
