Optimal Delivery @ Altitude (ODA), a last mile Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is searching for Delivery Associates to deliver packages and smiles on a daily basis.
ODA services the north Denver and surrounding areas, and is based out of Thornton and Denver, Colorado. If selected for this opportunity, you will deliver 250-350+ packages per day in a company provided, branded truck - no Commercial Driver’s License is required. THIS IS A TOUGH JOB. IT IS NOT EASY. But our team is built with the toughest folks on the road. There is the potential to have shifts at both working locations if needed depending on the time of year.
This opportunity is ideal for anyone who values a healthy professional/family life balance and are looking for a 4–5-day work week (up to or over 10.5-hour workdays; actual hours worked and paid will vary) and/or a more flexible part time schedule of 1-3 days a week (still consisting of up to or over 10.5-hour workdays). If you have keen attention to detail, thrive in fast-paced and physically demanding environments, manage time and deadlines efficiently, can think on your feet, and enjoy being on the road by yourself – joining the ODA team will be a natural fit for you.
At the heart of ODA is the customer, and meeting their needs is paramount to our success. Our primary focus is on providing a 5-star, personable experience by delivering on-time and safe deliveries. Each and every day, 361 days a year. Our only days off are the 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. There are no paid holidays for this position, but you can take accumulated PTO as desired.

Responsibilities of a Delivery Associate:
- Drives a delivery van to drop off packages to customers within their community.
- Commonly works 4+ days a week (Part-time employees 1-3 days a week)
- Weekends and holiday workdays are required.
- Typical working days are up to 10.5 hours long no matter job type, but not guaranteed. You are paid for actual hours worked.
- Follows strict safety standards on and off the road. Obeying the law is required.
- Absolute team first mentality is a must.
- BE CUSTOMER OBSESSED! Customer satisfaction is our mantra.
- Interacts with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
- Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process.
- Will deliver 250-350+ packages daily; This is tough work. You will work hard.
- Two 15-minute paid rest breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break each shift. You may not stack breaks.
Basic Requirements of a Delivery Associate (with or without reasonable accommodation):

- Must be 21+ and have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, GVWR 10,000 lbs. or less.
- Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to easily get in and out of a van.
- Must consent to a 4-panel drug screening (Not tested for marijuana use)
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers.
- Must be able to operate multiple smart phones and applications.
- Must be a team player - Absolute necessity
Experience in customer-service related industries is recommended. No delivery experience is required. We will train those who qualify.
Job Types: Full-time (4 days or more per week), Part-time (3 days or less per week)
Salary: Starting at $25.00-$26.00/hour. Our senior drivers make much more an hour due to time and experience with the company. So higher wages are possible after time, based on performance, merit based, and attendance.

Typical workday hours & days:
- Thornton station's hours are 10:15AM-8:15PM (subject to change and exact hours are not guaranteed per day); Monday - Sunday (includes most holidays). Our Denver station begins work at 9:15 AM.
