Creare seeks a Sensors & Controls Technician to support projects involving instrumentation, embedded sensors, controls hardware, data acquisition systems, and prototype testing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Select, install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, transducers, and data acquisition hardware.
- Assemble and maintain wiring harnesses, control boxes, electronics enclosures, and instrumentation systems.
- Assist in developing control hardware setups and automated test sequences.
- Conduct experiments, verify sensor performance, and troubleshoot signal issues.
- Record and organize measurement data; assist with analysis and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with engineers developing systems involving advanced sensing and controls.
- Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with sensors, wiring, electronics assembly, or control systems strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with DAQ systems, signal conditioning, or PLC hardware is a plus.
- Ability to interpret schematics and create or modify CAD models.
- Strong organization, communication skills, and mechanical aptitude.
