Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Clear and buss tables promptly to maintain a clean dining environment.
- Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of pots, pans, and bulk supplies in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards.
- Support food handling procedures ensuring proper hygiene during all stages of food service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued.
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and basic cooking tools is a plus.

- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with banquet, catering, or hotel food service can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
