Staffmark is hiring Forklift Operators!
Pay Rate: $19.25 – $20.25 per hour
Schedules
- 1st Shift | Start Time Between (6 AM + 8 AM)
- 2nd Shift | Start Time Between (1 PM + 4 PM) Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday (8-hour shift)
Forklift Operator Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1year of recent stand up reach and cherry picker experience
- Valid forklift cert or ability to get one
- Attention to detail, safety, and accuracy
- Lift 50 pounds and keep pace on your feet
Job Duties
- Operate material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment
- Safely and efficiently operate multiple types of forklift equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, clamp, cherry picker, and reach trucks
- Work within rack warehouse systems while following all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Perform order filling and order checking duties as needed in addition to forklift responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and product handling throughout daily operations
- Hold forklift certification on at least three types of equipment
- Spend 50% or more of the workday operating powered industrial equipment as part of daily job duties
- Ensure equipment is operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulations
