The Charak Center for Health and Wellness is a well-established, Joint Commission accredited and state certified behavioral health agency with locations in Elyria, Garfield Heights, Medina, Mentor, and Stow. We provide services to individuals with mental health and substance use issues. Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring licensed clinicians to provide high quality substance use disorder (SUD) recovery services to adults. These are hybrid positions (remote/office-based).
This position is located at our GARFIELD HEIGHTS OFFICE. We are looking for clinicians for all of our offices! We have openings at other offices, too.
In addition to strong clinical, ethical, and communication skills the ideal candidate should possess the sincere desire to help others through a collaborative effort. While a master’s degree and independent licensure are preferred, we will consider other candidates with credentials and relevant work experience. Both full time and part time positions are available.
LCDC II, LCDC III, LICDC & LICDC-CS, LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW
Responsibilities:
· Conduct initial and ongoing SUD diagnostic assessments to establish working diagnoses and determine the most appropriate level of care.
· Provide individual or group psychotherapy for those with substance use disorders.
· Develop Individualized Treatment Plan with clients. Collaborative approach to include best practice and evidence-based interventions
· Provide and engage in other services necessary to support treatment to clients such as clinical case meetings, staff development, maintaining clinical and administrative records per agency requirements.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
· Demonstrate the ability to provide culturally competent services.
· Ensures clinical services are provided in accordance with standards.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
