SLATINGTON: Sunday-Friday: Days, Afternoons, and Evenings.
Job Description of the Home Health Aide:
Assist clients with ADL’s and personal care needs
Light housekeeping and laundry
Meal planning and preparation
Medication reminder
Provide companionship and supervision as needed, such as conversations and games
Inform Agency leadership of emerging client problems or needs
Document and report any changes in the client’s physical or mental status to Agency
leadership. Comply with all Agency policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills of the Home Health Aide:
1 Year experience with personal care/bathing, assistance with ADL’s, transfer techniques
preferred, but will train the right candidate.
Reliable transportation required.
You must possess a caring nature and a pleasant attitude. Punctuality, flexibility,
compassion, and empathy for working with people that are dependent, especially seniors,
is a necessity.
