FlexTrades is seeking experienced Blow Mold Process Technicians to support our manufacturing clients by overseeing intermittent extrusion blow molding operations, validating setups, and troubleshooting process or quality issues. Responsibilities
- Monitor and validate operations on intermittent extrusion blow molding machines (Graham, Sterling, Milacron).
- Approve setups completed by setup personnel before production runs.
- Adjust machine parameters through HMI (material ratios, colorant, speeds, transfer positions, regrind, etc.).
- Troubleshoot quality and process issues using root‑cause analysis.
- Pull samples and coordinate with Materials and Quality teams for testing.
- Follow paper process sheets for machine parameters and cycle times.
- Operate cranes or forklifts if needed (training provided).
Qualifications
- Experience in blow molding or plastics manufacturing.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to adjust HMI‑controlled machine parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret paper-based process documentation.
- Knowledge of safety practices, including LOTO procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for process and quality issues.
- Experience with intermittent extrusion blow molding and actuator‑head systems.
- Familiarity with Graham, Sterling, or Milacron blow molding machinery.
- Background with HDPE molding, multi‑cavity molds, and 70–100 second cycle times.
- Experience supporting multiple machines in high‑volume production environments.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $42/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
