We're partnering with a leading structural steel contractor to recruit an experienced Site Superintendent to support the delivery of complex, high-profile projects across Florida.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with an impressive pipeline of commercial and infrastructure projects. While experience in structural steel is highly desirable, it isn't essential. We're also keen to speak with experienced Site Superintendents from large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects who have strong leadership skills and transferable construction experience.
You'll take ownership of on-site operations, working closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
As Site Superintendent, you'll lead the planning and execution of construction activities from pre-construction through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all on-site construction activities.

Oversee project sequencing, installation, and day-to-day site operations.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.

Coordinate site activities to ensure projects remain on programme and within budget.

Manage schedules, site logistics, and workforce planning.

Support pre-construction planning, mobilisation, and project start-up.

Chair site meetings and provide regular progress updates.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.

Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

Monitor productivity, workmanship, and project performance.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Site Superintendent with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.
Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar site leadership role.

Experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics.

Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades on site.

Experience working closely with general contractors.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Proficient in project reporting and construction management software.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel throughout Florida as required.
Highly Desirable

Experience delivering structural steel frame or primary steel erection projects (preferred but not essential).

Experience on stadium, arena, manufacturing, distribution, or major infrastructure projects.

Previous involvement in pre-construction, estimating, or bid support.

Familiarity with design coordination and drawing review.
